As well as jointly managing the firm with Chris Harper, Jane also heads our specialist Employment Law team.

She has a breadth of experience in employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, including issues of discrimination and in particular in Employment Tribunals through the full appeal process to the House of Lords. She advises employers and employees on complex employment issues and has special interest in the practical development of good management practices within the employment law framework. 

She was a partner in Simmonds Church Smiles before it merged with GRM in 1999. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, the Industrial Law Society, the Solicitors' Family Law Association and the British Association for Sports Law. She has contributed to many publications and given numerous seminars.
