Following his retirement from GRM at the end of 2011, William continues as a consultant within our Property team.

Previously a partner of the firm, he headed our former branch office in Tunbridge Wells where he had built up a substantial practice offering litigation and private client services in addition to property services.  On the closure of the Tunbridge Wells office in December 2008 he relocated to 1 Bedford Row where he continued to provide services to our valuable client base in Kent and the South East as well as London based property clients.

William has wide experience of all types of property work, including trusts, agricultural, commercial and residential conveyancing, and has a special interest in planning and environmental matters. He has lectured to Building Societies on property law and conveyancing procedures.

William served articles with Simmonds Church Rackham (later Simmonds Church Smiles), becoming a partner in 1973. He joined GRM on the merger in 1999.
