All staff play an important role at Gregory Rowcliffe Milners. We value our people. They are our present and future.
We regularly recruit solicitors and trainees to join our team and we have vacancies from time to time for legal executives and support staff.
Our firm is an enjoyable and friendly place to work, at the heart of the legal and commercial world in London. We have modern computer and telecommunications systems, and to complement our in-house research resources there are excellent external research facilities in the major legal and commercial libraries nearby.
We are looking to recruit staff who have not only the right qualifications, but also possess common sense, a friendly disposition, the ability to solve problems and a willingness to work.
If you are interested in joining us and you feel you have something to offer, send your c.v. to Mrs. Jane Laidler with a handwritten covering letter.
Please note:
- Applications are not accepted by e-mail.
- The firm does not run a vacation placement scheme.
Trainee Details
GRM currently engages one and sometimes two trainees each year. The structure of the firm is such that there is a human scale which brings advantages to our staff as well as to Clients. A particular benefit to trainees is that they have a significant and valued place in the firm and receive quality training.
GRM looks to trainees to provide assistant solicitors for the firm, from whom Partners are subsequently chosen. (Of the present Partners, some six were originally articled here.)
As a trainee solicitor you will spend approximately six months in each of four main areas of work:
- Company Commercial
- Litigation
- Private Client
- Property
You will work closely with Partners and staff experienced in each of these areas and the training combines an appropriate level of supervision with an opportunity for development of problem-solving and interpersonal skills with clients and members of your team.
As a successful firm in international markets we value language skills.
Our size and the care we give to training means there is the opportunity for individual trainee solicitors to make their mark.
